The public is invited to attend and hear the reading of the Emancipation Proclamation and the meaning of Jubilee Day. The San Antonio Branch NAACP will hold its 2020 Jubilee Day Celebration on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 4:00pm at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where Rev Dr. Kenneth Kemp is pastor. The guest speaker for the event is Rev. Otis I. Mitchell, pastor of Mount Zion First Baptist Church. The theme of the program is “Count the People and Watch God Bless the Outcomes”. Program participants will include members of the NAACP Youth Council and the UTSA NAACP Chapter.
