Event Details

“30 Poems for the Tricentennial: A Poetic Legacy”features the winning poems submitted by San Antonio poets in honor of the Tricentennial. The poems were interpreted by visual and graphic artists and transformed into two-dimensional vinyl works of art. Exhibit is on view through April 25, 2019.

The Department of Arts & Culture is funded by the hotel occupancy tax and supported in part by the Texas Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. The department’s policies and procedures are advised by the San Antonio Arts Commission, whose members are appointed by City Council and the Mayor.

The department comprises four divisions: Arts Funding, Public Art San Antonio, Cultural Events and Exhibits, and the San Antonio Film Commission.
