Believe In Yourself-The Future Begins With Me!

This is an informative and interactive workshop designed for students in grades 9th – 12th to help prepare them for college and/or life after high school. Students attending this workshop will become knowledgeable about: college/university requirements, college applications, financial assistance/scholarships, essay writing, and interviewing techniques/appropriate attire. Furthermore, attendees will view a mock interview and be able to provide feedback regarding the do’s and don’ts. A panel discussion comprised of college admissions counselors will be conducted to provide the attendees with a better understanding of the admission’s process. Another panel discussion with current college students, will be conducted to provide attendees with a better understanding of college life. Attendees will be able to interact with both panels by asking questions.
