Blessing of the Peacemakers
The Blessing of the Peacemakers marks the beginning of the season of nonviolence.
During the Blessing, the Peace Center honors and celebrates the San Antonio Peace Laureate: a local voice of wisdom and experience that speaks for peace and justice in San Antonio. This year, we recognize Ramon Vasquez y Sanchez and Ramon J. Vasquez, a father/son duo, for their tireless work, legacy, and resounding impact on our community.
At each blessing, people come together to celebrate through story ritual and song.
The Blessing will take place on January 28, 2024 at 3p.m. at Northwest Vista College.
