Event Details

This is an informative and interactive workshop designed for students in grades 9 – 12 to help prepare them for college or life after high school if they choose not to attend. Students attending this workshop will become knowledgeable about: college/university requirements, tools used to help select a major, college applications, financial assistance/scholarships, and interviewing techniques/appropriate attire. Furthermore, attendees will view a mock interview and be able to provide feedback regarding the do’s and don’ts. A panel discussion comprised of current college students along with recent graduates will be conducted to help attendees understand college life better. Attendees will be able to interact with the panel by asking questions.
