COL(Ret) Mary Garr is the President/CEO of Family Service, a 119 year old non-profit that works to address challenges in peoples’ lives caused by systemic barriers and intergenerational issues that affect long term health and quality of life outcomes. A former Army healthcare administrator and Fort Sam Houston Garrison Commander, she continues to serve her community by working to reduce and prevent chronic health issues by increasing opportunities for individuals and families to improve their lives and strengthen their communities.
