An exhibit and mixer featuring an archive of photos exploring the transformation of San Antonio’s Martin Luther King Drive. Attendees will relive past decades and memories through the photos collected and stories shared by the community.

This event invites all to bring past and present photos of family members, houses, businesses, and streetscapes on Martin Luther King Drive to share and be a part of this archive.  Your photos will be scanned, and you will get a digitized version for your own personal use.

The overall goal of this event is to trace and create a searchable history of Martin Luther King Drive that residents, visitors, educators and historians will find interesting and useful. Come explore the transformation of Martin Luther King Drive, decade by decade, through these photos and stories that will be collected and shaped into an online, public archive.
