Event Details

In the first hour, writer Emily Starbuck Gerson, founder of the blog Profiles in Pride, shares some of the diverse, moving stories from her blog of LGBTQIA+ people’s journeys to self-acceptance and coming out, their triumphs and tribulations, and how they’re making an impact on the world. In the second hour, her partner, Air Force Staff Sergeant Jamie Hash, a transgender woman, hosts a discussion with other LGBTQIA+ military service members about what it’s like being a member of both communities.
