The board of Fix SAPD discusses the decades battle for police accountability in San Antonio, and what we as citizens can do to break down the legislative barriers that stand in our way. San Antonio is one of the worst in the nation for bringing back officers terminated for misconduct back to the force at 70%. The powers that haven’t acted in decades, so let’s take matters into our own hands! Topics discussed include Fix SAPD’s petition drive, collective bargaining negotiations between the city and the police association, the George Floyd Act, and more. Q&A period for attendees at the end. We will also be making our call to action to honor Dream Week. Tune in on Fix SAPD’s Facebook Live!
