Get transported back to the 80’s with the movie School Daze. Come early and win prizes playing our black facts quiz and answer questions on history and pop culture. There will be surprises during the movie all leading up to our final discussion on color-ism in America. We can’t move towards the future without unpacking baggage from the past. We want to make these difficult conversations a bit easier by connecting in a fun environment. Let’s lighten the load of moving past our cultural stigmas by unpacking some of the things that hold us back. Join us for Black trivia, prizes, food, drinks, a conversation, a movie, and an all around good Time!
Fee: $5 per blanket, $25 per couch. All Proceeds go towards benefiting The Community Wellness Project a 501c3 organization the focusing on women of color.
