Terms of Use

DreamWeek San Antonio · Effective October 1, 2026

01Agreement and acceptance

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern use of the website at dreamweek.org, operated by DreamGlobal Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and managed by DreamVoice LLC. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "DreamWeek San Antonio" mean DreamGlobal Inc. "You" means anyone using this website.

By using dreamweek.org, creating an account, registering for an event or submitting one, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

How we handle your information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Hosting partners: the Event Hosting Terms you accept during submission apply in addition to these Terms. Where the two conflict on a hosting matter, the Event Hosting Terms control.

02Your account

Accounts are free and are intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian to register and sign you up.

When you create one, you agree to:

  • Give accurate information, and keep your email address current, since that is how we reach you about events you have registered for.
  • Keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think somebody else has it.
  • Hold one account rather than several.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can close it at any time by emailing hello@dreamvoice.org from the address on the account.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to abuse the site, other attendees or hosting partners. Where it is reasonable to do so first, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

03Registering for events

Every DreamWeek San Antonio event takes registration, whether attending is free or paid. Registration exists so hosts know how many people to expect, so we can reach you if something changes, and so the Summit can report attendance to the funders who pay for it.

RSVPs

An RSVP is free and is a commitment of the ordinary kind: you are telling a host to expect you, and they are setting out a chair, ordering food or booking a room on that basis.

If your plans change, cancel it. It takes a moment in My Events, it costs you nothing, and it frees a place at an event that may be full. Repeatedly registering for events and not attending may lead us to limit an account.

Tickets

A ticket admits you to one event, on the date and at the venue shown on it, subject to anything else that event's listing says about age, dress or capacity. Tickets are not transferable for resale. You may give one to somebody else to use, but you may not sell it on.

Admission is also subject to the venue's own rules and to the hosting partner's reasonable discretion on the day.

04Prices, payment and refunds

Prices are shown on each event's page in US dollars, and payment is taken at the time you book. Our payment processing is described in the Privacy Policy. We do not store your card details.

Who you are paying

For events DreamWeek San Antonio presents itself, including the Opening Ceremony, the Awards Luncheon and the DreamBall, you are paying DreamGlobal Inc.

For events hosted by partners, you may be paying the hosting partner directly through their own connected payment account. The event page and your receipt show who received the money.

Refunds

  • Tickets to events DreamWeek San Antonio presents are non-refundable, because the Summit is a fundraising program of a nonprofit and costs are committed in advance. You may pass your ticket to somebody else to use. Tell us the name at hello@dreamvoice.org so the door list matches.
  • Tickets to partner-hosted events follow that partner's own refund policy. Contact them through the details on the event listing. We will help you reach them, but we cannot refund money that went to somebody else's account.
  • If an event is canceled, refunds are made in full. See Section 5.

Hosting partner submission fees

The submission fee is charged per event, at the rate for your organization type, and is shown before you pay.

If we decline your submission, the fee is refunded in full. Once a submission is approved and listed, the fee is non-refundable, including if you later withdraw the event, because at that point the listing, the promotion and in most cases the print deadline have already been spent on it.

05If an event changes

Events are planned months ahead by independent organizations. Times move, venues change and speakers withdraw. When that happens we update the listing and email everyone registered for it.

If an event is canceled, anyone who paid for a ticket is refunded in full, by whoever took the payment. If the cancellation is of a partner-hosted event, the hosting partner makes the refund.

If an event is postponed or moved, your registration carries over to the new date or venue. If that does not work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the change being announced and you will get one.

We are not able to reimburse travel, accommodation, parking, childcare or other costs you incurred around an event that changed or was canceled.

06Hosting partners

DreamWeek San Antonio is community-curated. The great majority of events are proposed, planned and run by independent organizations, not by us.

The hosting partner is the organizer of their event. They are responsible for it: the venue and its contract, permits and licenses, insurance, staffing, security, accessibility, safety, catering, refunds, and everything that happens on the day. DreamWeek San Antonio provides the platform, the shared calendar, the promotion and the schedule the event appears in.

The full obligations of a hosting partner are set out in the Event Hosting Terms. In summary, as a hosting partner you agree that:

  • You have the authority to hold the event and to submit it on your organization's behalf.
  • The information in your submission is accurate, and you will keep it current.
  • You will carry whatever insurance and permits your event and venue require.
  • You will run the event as described, or tell us promptly if you cannot.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws, including on accessibility and non-discrimination.

Attendee information

You receive the name, email address and party size of people who register for your own event. You may use it to run that event and to contact those people about it.

You may not add them to unrelated marketing lists, sell the list, or pass it to anyone else. You must honor a request to be removed. You are responsible for keeping it secure and for deleting it when you no longer need it.

If you take registrations on your own site or through an outside service instead, that is your system and your responsibility, including whatever privacy notice it needs.

Review and listing

We review every submission and may decline one, or ask for changes, at our discretion. We may also remove or amend a listing that is inaccurate, that misrepresents the event, or that conflicts with the purpose of the Summit. Where a fee has been paid, Section 4 says what happens to it.

07Content you submit

You keep ownership of everything you submit: event descriptions, images, logos, speaker biographies and the rest.

By submitting it you grant DreamGlobal Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt for format, publish and display it to promote your event and the Summit. That includes this website, the printed Schedule of Events, social channels, email, press materials and our archive of past summits. The license continues after the Summit so the archive and the historical record stay intact.

You confirm that you own this content or have permission to use it, including permission for any photograph of an identifiable person, and that publishing it will not infringe anyone's rights.

We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing or inconsistent with the Summit's purpose.

08Photography at events

DreamWeek San Antonio events are photographed and sometimes filmed, by us, by hosting partners and by press.

By attending, you understand that you may appear in photographs or recordings, and that those may be used to document and promote the Summit. If you would rather not appear, tell the photographer or the event staff on the day and they will work around you.

Events involving children follow the hosting partner's own consent arrangements, and a parent or guardian should raise any concern with that partner directly.

09Using this website

Use the site for finding, registering for and submitting events. You may not:

  • Break into, probe or interfere with the site, its security, or anyone's account.
  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-collect attendee or partner information.
  • Submit false or fraudulent registrations or submissions.
  • Upload anything malicious.
  • Use the site to harass anyone, or to post anything unlawful, defamatory or hateful.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Resell tickets, or use the site for commercial purposes unconnected to the Summit.

10Our names and materials

DreamWeek, DreamWeek San Antonio, DWSA, DreamGlobal, DreamVoice, the category names and the associated logos belong to DreamGlobal Inc. or DreamVoice LLC.

Hosting partners and sponsors may use the marks we supply, in the form we supply them, to promote their own participation in the Summit. Any other use needs our written permission.

The site's own text, design and code are ours or our licensors'.

11Other people's sites

We link to hosting partners, venues, sponsors, ticketing services and other outside sites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their practices, or what they collect about you. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave dreamweek.org.

12Disclaimers

We work to keep the schedule accurate, but events are run by independent organizations and details change without reaching us first. The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that listings are complete or current, or that any particular event will take place as described.

We do not endorse the views expressed at events hosted by partners. DreamWeek San Antonio exists to create a forum for civil exchange, and a forum is not an endorsement of everything said in it.

13Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DreamGlobal Inc., DreamVoice LLC and their officers, directors, employees and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of this site or your attendance at an event, including costs incurred around an event that changed or was canceled. Their total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in connection with that claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

For events run by hosting partners, your claim is with the partner, who is the organizer.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14Indemnification

If you are a hosting partner, sponsor, advertiser or performer, you agree to indemnify DreamGlobal Inc. and DreamVoice LLC against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your event, your content, or your breach of these Terms. This does not cover anything caused by our own negligence or wrongdoing.

15Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you consent to that venue.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.

16Changes to these Terms

We update the effective date at the top when these Terms change. Where a change materially affects registrations or submissions already made, we will email account holders rather than rely on you noticing a date.

Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
