The People’s Clinic is a culturally sensitive, botanically-integrative, harm-reduction-focused mobile clinic operating in neighborhoods predominantly located on the Eastside/South Eastside of San Antonio. Our services include Herbal integrative wound care, Indigenous healing practices, Flower Essence therapy, Bioregional Clinical herbalism (preventative healthcare, womxn’s health, Covid support, etc.), mental healthcare offerings, harm reduction support, syringe disposal, safe use/safe sex kits distribution, Narcan training and distribution, needs items distribution (such as hygiene, socks), and seasonal items (tents, sleeping bags, etc.).
The People’s Clinic holds a clinic weekly on Fridays from 12-3pm at Maverick Park. This clinic is free and open to both Unhoused and Housed community members.
We welcome those in need of community care and/or harm reduction support/supplies to visit our clinic. We also invite the community to support our clinical work by dropping off donations of any of the following during our Friday clinic hours during Dreamweek.

– Treatment Room Experiences:

Attendees can enjoy 5 to 10-minute sessions throughout the day in treatment rooms.

Centers on uncovering inspiring stories of ethical leadership, integrity, and resilience at the community, city, and grassroots organizational levels. Celebrating individuals and groups who have championed unity and progress during divisive times, fostering hope and connection despite broader political turbulence. We will also share CDC information on respiratory illness prevention through our Good Health Wins partnership with The National Council of Negro Women.

Given our current context, how are we as individuals and community activating educational efforts for San Antonio’s future? Both within educational institutions as well as within community education via nonprofits, congregations, grassroot orgs, etc. And just like DreamWeek’s Mission – to celebrate our humanity by creating environments for civil and civic engagement to embrace ideas and dreams for the common good – this DreamWeek event is creating just that environment!

Fresh Roots is a powerful, one-hour, hands-on conversation designed to help individuals understand the true foundation of healthy hair: the roots. Every beautiful hair journey begins beneath the surface, and this experience will guide attendees through the essentials of scalp health, growth retention, maintenance habits, and the emotional confidence that comes with caring for yourself from the inside out.

Led by Master Stylist Kadia Cohen, this session blends education, inspiration, and practical tips that attendees can apply immediately—no matter their hair type, background, or stage of their journey.

Participants will learn:
• How to properly nourish and strengthen their roots
• Techniques to grow and retain length
• How lifestyle, stress, and self-care impact hair health
• Product and routine essentials for long-term success

“Fresh Roots” aligns with the heart of DreamWeek—empowering individuals, uplifting community wellness, and fostering confidence, identity, and self-love.

Expect clarity, education, and a renewed perspective.
You will walk away with revelation, restoration, and a fresh start.

This will be a 4 hour basketball skills clinic, for middle school-aged ballers, that will focus on the triple threat, ballhandling, shooting and passing. We will work closely with beginners and push the advanced players. Balls will be limited, so we encourage athletes to bring their own.

Ball size for this age group is as follows:
28.5″ or size 6 (women’s professional) for girls and 6th grade boys
29.5″ or size 7(men’s professional) for 7th and 8th grade boys.

No food is allowed in the gym so please plan accordingly! Water will be provided but athletes may bring their own. We are a Christian ministry, so God is at the center of everything that we do and teach.
The clinic will start with prayer and stretching and end with prayer
Disrespect will not be tolerated. Anyone not in alignment with this will be asked to leave.
Please be there 30 mins early to pick up your athlete. The gym will close after we are finished.
If you are late, registration for monthly clinics will be suspended for 3 months
The entries will be capped at 60 athletes

Her Table is a shared meal that brings women together over good food and meaningful conversation. This special DreamWeek gathering honors the women who sustain our community—teachers, healthcare professionals, social workers, nonprofit staff, counselors, and family caregivers—who pour into others while their own needs often go unseen.

This event celebrates the often-invisible labor of women while recognizing inequity, uncovering hidden community resources and support systems, and helping participants reconnect with their own inner strength and resilience. Guests will leave with practical self-care tools they can immediately implement, knowledge of local resources they can access and share with others, and renewed energy to continue their vital work—because when we care for the caregivers, we strengthen every family, classroom, hospital, and organization they serve.

Join SA Digital Connects and community partners for an engaging conversation about the vital role of Digital Navigators—trusted guides who help residents learn digital skills, access affordable internet and devices, and connect to essential online resources.

This interactive session will highlight local organizations employing Digital Navigators across San Antonio—from libraries and nonprofits to schools and healthcare providers—showcasing how this growing network is helping residents overcome digital barriers and open doors to education, employment, and community connection.
