Humane education encourages empathy, compassion, and respect for people, animals, and the environment. The San Antonio Humane Society believes that introducing “Humane Education” into a child’s early life will help ensure a more kind and compassionate future. This presentation will focus on who the San Antonio Humane Society is and what they do, as well as the role of their shelter in the San Antonio community. A behind-the-scenes tour will immediately follow the 20 minute presentation. There will be another presentation from 1pm – 2pm.
