Parents!
Have you ever wondered why suddenly you and your teen or preteen no longer get along?
Would you like answers to questions you have about your teen’s behavior(s)?
Would you like to understand your teens better?
Do you know the signs of self-harming behavior?
Do you know the signs of suicidal behavior?
Do you sometimes doubt your parenting skills?
Do you sometimes get overwhelmed with your teen’s attitude?
Would you like to communicate better with your teens?
Do you have fears or worries about mental health issues or suicide in your child?
Teens!
Would you like your parent to understand you better?
Would you like to have more access to your parents?
Do you know how to communicate with your parent so your feelings and emotions can be validated?
Do you sometimes wonder if your parents (still) love you?
If any of these questions pertain to you, then this summit is for you!
Dr. Lulu, a local pediatrician who attends to only high risk preteens and teens in her practice, has assembled a panel of educators, speakers and community leaders who will discuss many issues affecting parents and their children that prevent effective communication and understanding, leading to stress, discord and crisis.
You will learn how to better handle conflicts, how to navigate teen behavior and how to return peace and harmony to the home during those challenging teen years.
There will be poetry reading and performances by local teens and some of her patients.
There will be a whole hour of Q and A, so you will have any and all your questions answered!
Be sure to invite your family and friends!
See you there!
