The primary purpose of this clothes drive is to:
– Collect and distribute gently used clothing to underserved members of our community and survivors of domestic violence transitioning from shelters.
– Promote sustainable living by encouraging community members to donate instead of discarding usable clothing.
– Raise awareness about the socioeconomic and domestic challenges faced by individuals in our local community who must leave their homes in direst because of domestic violence. We desire to foster a spirit of generosity, support, and volunteerism.
-Become educated on the effects of domestic violence on survivors, professionals, and law enforcement about the impact of domestic violence in San Antonio.
