Light snacks and beverages will freely be provided and donated. Children or adolescents are welcome to attend as long as they are in the company of a responsible adult or guardian. Guests will be provided an opportunity to comment or narrate on the film prior to viewing and post. Microphone and speaker provided by hostess Lady Lyria. The purpose of this civil engaging connection is to not only shed light on the struggles of Colored women but to also show how every ethnicity goes through trauma and suffering . Sometimes that suffering is silent until people learn to work together. This movie is about women in general. But heavily emphasizes the detailed acute struggles of African American women in a Metropolitan environment. Conclusively for those whom have seen the film there is a divine result of success and compassion that is shared amongst the lead actresses. Trauma can bring people close together because it feels the voids that are caused by the actual painful situations. Tyler Perry’s film has a way of bringing even the most impossible characters together through weaving about so many different case studies and scenarios.
