Housing in San Antonio

San Antonio City Council approved a 10 year housing affordability plan – Strategic Housing Implementation Plan (SHIP) in December of 2021. San Antonio voters approved its first ever Affordable Housing Bond to fund the production and preservation of affordable housing. Housing is healthcare and housing is a human right. This community event invites everyone to join to learn about programs and services available. Attendees will be able to interact with exhibits, a resource fair, food distribution, youth activities and panel discussions about housing opportunities. SHIP Partners will be present: The San Antonio Housing Trust, Opportunity Home San Antonio, Bexar County and the San Antonio Housing Commission.
