Event Details

The Food Policy Council of San Antonio and Tamox Talom food forest welcomes guests to join us during DreamWeek to explore learning about the vast mycelial networks under our feet, how they make up fungal webs of communication and nutrient sharing among plant communities, and how we might apply these patterns of mutual support to our human systems of interaction.

We will begin with a brief tour of Tamox-Talom and the history of the space, followed by a brief presentation and interactive activity to showcase the wonderful world of mycelium and how we’ve been able to build relationships of mutual support at Tamox-Talom. Participants will leave with seeds and mushroom cultures to spread in their communities.
