Neighborhood Talk: The Opioid Crisis

A discussion with the community and neighbors about the poison on our streets – stimulants, ‘downers’, pain killers, and fentanyl. Attendees will learn about the opioid epidemic and hear from two leading rehabilitation organizations who specialize in substance abuse recovery. The event also includes a free NARCAN training to all community members in attendance as well as a free Narcan device to take with them for emergency use. Narcan is the lifesaving drug usually given by first responders to immediately reverse an opioid overdose.
