Join Queer Corazones as they organize against the different structures (misogyny, homophobia, religion, immigration, heterosexuality, healthcare, patriarchy, military, government) that create the violence & hate against what is queer, trans, femme, butch, woman, immigrant, different. Community members will speak to their different identities & share how their identities & experiences have affected their physical, mental, and emotional health; but also how it’s made them targets for violence, murder, attacks, & social/gender/economic inequalities. This event will also focus on queer health, issues, advocacy, & options for the LGBTQ+ community in San Antonio. There will be a resource fair, mobile clinics, & health professionals on site.
