In this special DreamWeek edition of Entrepreneurial Appetite, we feature the third of our three-part series featuring Black experts in Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. In this discussion, we feature a conversation with Izzoe Wane, co-founder and CEO of Bloxtel, a company that utilizes blockchain technology to support decentralized mobile networks. With his new startup, Bloxtel, Izzo is building a patent-pending decentralized electronic SIM that aims to help mobile network operators reduce their telecom infrastructure costs by 10x. Izzo will provide our community insight into the intersection of blockchain technology and telecommunications, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

This summer, I went to a telecommunications and blockchain technology conference, and Izzo Wane was the only Black person featured as a speaker. He was literally the only representation of Blackness that had any authority at the conference. My hope is that this event will inspire other Black entrepreneurs to launch start-ups at the intersection of telecommunications and blockchain technology.
