Join Jose Guevara, Recruitment & Training Coordinator from Child Advocates San Antonio to learn more about CASA’s mission to elevate the voices of children in the foster care system. CASA provides support to these children by assigning an advocate who’s always looking out for the child’s best interest. Advocates get to spend one on one time with the child/children as well as provide recommendations to the judges overseeing these cases to ensure the child’s medical, educational, and overall needs are met while they are going through the court system. There will be time after the presentation for a Q&A as well.
