Event Details

Recent events at the US-Mexican border have caught national and international attention and have particular relevance and personal impact throughout San Antonio. How does a city that prides itself on #Compassionate actions respond to events there: children separated from parents and placed indiscriminately in foster homes, military troops marshalled out, and hateful rhetoric that “others” our closest neighbors? How is the crisis on our border related to similar crises in other regions; are there common causes at play? What are ways that compassionate people can respond to these situations?
