Lessons from Yesterday – Revelations for Tomorrow

Lessons from Yesterday…Revelations for Tommorrow” invites the San Antonio community to gather for an afternoon of reflection, storytelling and inspiration. Hosted by Ms. Quita (“Giggles”), founder of Real Resilient Conversations, the program aligns with DreamWeek 2026’s #Revelations theme by illuminating how our past informs our futuredreamweek.org

The session begins with networking and introductions, followed by Ms. Quita’s personal talk on the lessons she has learned as she has broken barriers and served her community. Participants will then engage in table‑talk “speed conversations,” sharing their own lessons and aspirations for tomorrow. A second talk from Ms. Quita shifts the focus toward future revelations and how we can carry light into our communities. The event closes with an open mic for attendees to share their takeaways and a networking session. Stories gathered from participants will help shape Ms. Quita’s forthcoming book, making this event both a celebration of individual voices and a catalyst for collective growth. The session is free and open to the public, with options for both in‑person and virtual participation.
