Join us for a powerful and inspiring MLK Shabbat Service as we honor the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This cherished tradition brings together Temple Beth-El and Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in a celebration of community, partnership, and shared moral vision.
What began as a historic pulpit exchange has become a spiritual revelation—an opportunity to witness the strength of unity, the beauty of collaboration, and the sacredness of relationships across lines of faith, race, and culture. All are warmly welcome to experience this meaningful evening.
The evening begins at 6:00 PM with light refreshments and a chance to build community with members of both congregations. At 6:30 PM, the Erev Shabbat service begins, led by Reverend Kenneth R. Kemp, the Antioch Choir, Temple Beth-El clergy, the Kol Simchah Choir, and the Temple Beth-El Band, offering a dynamic and soulful worship experience. Join us in this transformative tradition that continues to reveal the power of justice, love, and shared purpose.
