This educational sustainability seminars will include a compilation of different speakers specializing in environmental issues and matters that affect all human beings. Topics include: Rainwater Collection, Permaculture, Organic Vertical Gardening, Composting, Sustainable Lighting, Aquaponics and much more. Speakers will provide plentiful eco-friendly solutions we can all incorporate into our everyday activities to live a more sustainable, holistic life without spending an “arm and a leg”. With the increase of construction costs there are other solutions to the shortage of mixed-income housing that will provide us with healthier lifestyles and living environments. Shipping container construction is one of those solutions, and will be one of the topics discussed at this event. The seminar will also teach people how to better budget their finances in regards to food by learning to cook healthy meals purchased at non-conventional grocery stores. Speakers will be interacting with the public, providing demonstrations and presentations in an open forum platform.
