Whose closet is it anyway? That is the question that begs to be asked every time a member of the LGBTQ+ community struggles to live in authenticity. We all have aspects of our lives that society expects us to hide, so, why is the closet metaphor assigned to LGBTQ+ persons?

What other situations do people usually “Come Out” from, and whose decision should it be as to when we are allowed out? Did you know that one of the peak periods of suicidal behavior in queer youth is when they come out?

What if there is another way around it?

Join us as we explore “Inviting In” as a safer alternative and discuss your role in earning your invitation as an ally.
