People in San Antonio encounter women who need help in a domestic violence situation. So few know what to do! While San Antonio has wonderful domestic violence resources, the general population doesn’t know they exist and the organizations can’t possibly reach everyone. This training will teach regular citizens how to help someone asking for support: Who can they call? Where can they go? Can they take their children? How do they start a divorce or protective order proceedings? With these ambassadors for the domestic violence support organizations out in the city, more women an children can be helped.
