Are you a social justice warrior, change maker, racial justice superhero, transformative leader for a better world, or want to be any of the above? Please join the Office of Equity and advocate-for-Inclusion Malii Watts Witten for a Social Justice Happy Hour, strategically organized to bring together anyone and everyone who is fighting for the collective liberation of people—especially People of Color, LGBTQIA folx, and other marginalized communities. We will have opportunities to connect by issue area starting at 6:30pm, provide organized “who is in the room” and “how can we work together” type activities.
This is a pilot event for a possible more regular social justice happy hour in San Antonio. The venue, The East Bar, is a newly opened, Black owned bar on San Antonio’s East Side.
