Event Details

San Antonio has one of the largest MLK marches in the country. During the DreamWeek summit, the San Antonio Symphony will honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His famous dream speech is set to music by American composer, Joseph Schwantner. The music reflects the power of his words and the depth of its emotional content. Ellington honors MLK in a lighter, but no less impacting way. To conclude the concert, Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony No. 3 is a timeless contribution to humanity dedicated to the memories of a lost hero.
