Join Planned Parenthood South Texas and the Afiya Center (link to www.theafiyacenter.org) for an interactive reproductive justice training. The Womanist Read-In is an event for women* where participants pick a book from the 100 book mobile library, read for 45 minutes to an hour, and spend an hour discussing what they read with the rest of the room, making connections between what we have read and reproductive justice issues.
Please Note: Although the event is free, participants must register in advance as space is limited.
*Woman is used here to refer to all women. Cis and Trans, etc women are all welcome.
