Blue Star Contemporary exhibiting artist Theresa Newsome joins artist and UIW Associate Professor Kathy Vargas in conversation to discuss her solo exhibition featuring a recent and ongoing body of work entitled Objects. Newsome’s exhibition Objects of Aggression features photographs that reflect on the murder of unarmed black men and women in the United States, either by police brutality or unchecked racism. Participants can tune and submit questions for the artist in advance via Facebook.
