During this event they will talk about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and his role in the Civil Rights Movement. They will show videos, do a musical tribute, and the “I Have a Dream” Speech. Their inter-generational activities include storytelling, discussion forum, arts and crafts. The main focus is on non-violent principles, conflict resolution and how to handle bullies. Their storytellers and presenters are people who lived through the Civil Rights Movement and who marched with Dr. King. Their keynote speaker is Pastor, Rev. Aretha Preston, Human Resource Diversity and Inclusion Manager.
