Agosto Cuellar– San Antonio visionary as a fashion designer, entrepreneur, social activist, producer and servant leader.
Cuellar grew up in San Antonio and discovered his love of fashion at an early age. Cuellar’s grandmother was a seamstress who inspired and taught him how to sew and construct garments. Cuellar’s mother (and biggest supporter) would take him to fabric and secondhand stores to find inspiration and goods to further his artistic journey…which led to his career as a self-taught designer.
Cuellar’s collections have been featured in New York and Paris Fashion Week, he was featured in ELLE magazine, has produced fashion shows in San Antonio and was awarded the Cultural Pioneer award from the Texas Fashion Industry Initiative, as well as Womenswear Designer of the Year.
Cuellar is currently utilizing his skills and talents as the Events & Community Engagement Manager at Goodwill San Antonio.
