The DreamHour Speaker Series (The Descendant Series) featuring individuals from the community who will share their experiences as descendants of African Americans and Indigenous peoples- who contributed to making America a global power – without recognition or compensation. Presentations will be focused on the lives of descendants of African American nation and Indigenous founders in America. Presenters will share their perspectives and experiences of the challenges, struggles, and successes involved with the legacy.

Christian Reed-Ogba
Christian Reed-Ogba is founding partner and principal publicist at EHCU Public Relations, San Antonio’s only Black-owned full service PR firm. For almost 10 years she’s worked alongside economic development organizations to expand conversations around urbanism, transit, investment, equity, and community growth. The San Antonio Business Journal included Christian in their 2017 40 Under 40; and New York Life – SA named her the Woman of the Year in 2018. Currently Christian manages a network of 1000 central Texas entrepreneurs and executives. Most recently Christian, a native Detroiter, co-founded Black Freedom Factory, a social data-driven firm focused on introducing equity programming and training to corporate brands. Mrs. Reed-Ogba proudly serves on the board of directors for Compass Rose Charter School.
