Her groundbreaking research at the South Texas Veterans Hospital from 2020 to 2023, funded by the San Antonio Medical Foundation, focused on using Artificial Intelligence to decipher dementia patterns, marking a major advancement in the field. Dr. Musa’s work earned her prestigious awards in 2023, including the AIM-AHEAD Fellowship in Leadership and the National Medical Fellowships Diversity in Clinical Trials Research Program Award. As an Adjunct Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, she’s also shaping future medical minds, solidifying her role as a visionary in both medical research and education.
