This event will highlight women’s empowerment and self-care. There will be three women speak about topics such as, self-empowerment, self-care, self-love and empowering other women. Each woman will have 10-15 minutes to speak. In between each speaker will be small breaks and during these breaks a poet (3 poets) will come recite her original poem about empowerment or self-love. Throughout the whole time of this event the girls and women will be painting. There will be two different paintings, 1) a woman with an Afro and a crown on her head, and 2) a woman with curly/wavy hair and a crown on her head.
There will also be finger food for them to snack on while painting.
The target audience for this event is girls and women of all races, cultures and backgrounds.
