“Faith is Taking the First Step” features the work of four contemporary artists from San Antonio inspired by the Martin Luther King quote. “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Artists are beings of faith demonstrated by their ability to create something from nothing. Faith that the first stroke on the canvas, the first words of a poem, the first cut into a stone will become the work they seek to make with the message they wish to convey.
