This is a VIRTUAL-only event as of 12/30/21 due to rising Covid rates. 

San Antonio Ruth Jones McClendon Section NCNW, Inc., San Antonio Ethnic Art Society (SAEAS), and Southwest School of Art host a three-part exploration of Colorism that will include a screening of San Antonio artist Barbara’s Felix’s video shorts titled “Liminality of Self: Transitioning Reflections of Color and Culture,” breakout sessions to explore the topic further in small group discussions, and a final group art project in which participants of all ages and genders will contribute to a collage mosaic built of silhouettes and text art.
