Come join Free Battered Texas Women in a complimentary screening of the film Sin by Silence, which documents battered women in California prisons and the legislation that has freed more than 30 women over the past decade. Take part in an interactive panel discussion after the film with formerly incarcerated women, advocates for battered women, and experts in criminal justice as they discuss the history and future of policy on incarcerated battered women in San Antonio and Texas.
