Event Details

The mission of the Texas A&M University-San Antonio Anti Human Trafficking Conference is to bring awareness, promote self-advocacy for those in potential danger, and teach preventative measures.
The goals of this conference are to discuss the operations and dangers of trafficking. The conference is covering the topics of grooming, internet safety, child pornography, sexual violence, sugar babies, dorm and campus safety.
Attendees will learn how to defend themselves, learn to spot the signs of trafficking online and in real-time. The Texas A&M University-San Antonio Anti Human Trafficking Conference will encourage attendees to start the hard conversation with the right questions from the classroom to their homes.
Preventative measures will teach conference-goers what to do in case they notice a victim of trafficking and how they can help. Through awareness, self-advocacy, and prevention campaigns, Texas A&M University-San Antonio is on the front-line with the City of San Antonio and those of like-minded organizations to continue the fight against human trafficking.
