Event Details

Join the the San Antonio chapter of The Poor People’s Campaign for an evening vigil and interfaith service for racial justice.

A vigil and prayer service for racial justice would benefit those in attendance by being part of the process to validate the pain of the ever widening rupture in this society surrounding this issue. There are powerful effects of having groups of many faiths coming together to mourn and pray.

The Poor People’s Campaign is calling for a moral revival around issues of social justice. The current mission is that “we must do M.O.R.E: more mobilizing, organizing, registering, and education.” People of all faith systems recognize the need for collective prayer in an effort to seek a collective way forward.
